Legal Services Alabama (LSA) serves low-income people by providing civil legal aid and by promoting collaboration to find solutions to problems of poverty. LSA offices are located in Anniston-Gadsden, Birmingham, Dothan, Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery, Selma and Tuscaloosa. Because LSA handles civil cases only, LSA attorneys not are available to defend you if you are charged with a crime. Each office has lawyers licensed to practice in Alabama and other staff who know how to help low-income people resolve their legal problems.
