There are many benefits to joining the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association. Although our association is relatively small, we strive to build a sense of community among our members. We provide innovative and relevant events by bringing in speakers of notable interest. We provide the following benefits for our members:

Free CLE's

The association hosts many free lunch-hour CLE's per year. These topics are relevant and engaging, as well as a great way to meet your CLE requirements.

Section Memberships

These are perfect for attorneys in a certain practice area to network with each other, as well as to share important information for the benefit of all. It is also a great way to meet with the judges. 

Public Service Opportunities

The association provides opportunities for service with the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers' Program. There are great outlets for giving back and for performing pro bono legal work.

Networking and social events:

These are a great opportunity to get to know your fellow local lawyers, and are just a lot of fun. Our annual events include monthly meetings, Law Day celebrations, Law Day awards, and more.

Dues to Join

If you have been practicing under 0 to 5 years, your dues are $100.  Also required are two donations of $25 each to Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program (MCVLP) and Law Foundation for a total of $150.

If you have been practicing from 6 to 10 years, your dues are $150.  Also required are two donations of $25 each to MCVLP and Law Foundation for a total of $200.

If you have been practicing from 11 to 50 years, your dues are $180.  Also required are two donations of $25 each to MCVLP and Law Foundation for a total of $230.

If you have practicing over 50 years, your dues are $0. Also are required two donations of $25 each to MCVLP and Law Foundation for a total of $50.
