Joseph "Joey" D. Aiello was born in Huntsville, Alabama on October 3, 1975. Mr. Aiello attended public school in the city of Huntsville and graduated from Grissom High School in 1994.
Mr. Aiello attended UAH for two years and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1998 with an undergraduate degree in Political Science.
He also obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law graduating cum laude in 2001. Upon entering law school, Mr. Aiello was awarded the Robert Joseph and Jane Knight Lowe Scholarship.
While attending the University, Mr. Aiello was a member of the Christian Legal Society, and he was awarded the Balch & Bingham LLP Harold A. Bowron, Jr. Labor and Employment Law Award and ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.
Mr. Aiello served as an intern with U.S. Magistrate Judge T. Michael Putnam of the Northern District, and he also served as an intern/clerk for Judge Joseph L. Battle of Madison County Circuit Court.
He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2001 and in 2002 he was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama and U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Madison County Bar Association.
Additionally, Mr. Aiello serves on the board of directors for the City of Huntsville's Air Pollution Control Board, and he has served on the board of United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and North Alabama (UCP).
He is also active in his church and teaches a Sunday school class.
Mr. Aiello was listed in the 2011 Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers.
