Kimberly C. Brown, Esq. is the founder/president of the Kimberly C. Brown Law Firm, LLC. A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Kimberly C. Brown has an unyielding commitment to the profession of law and the community. Attorney Brown has a B.S. in Chemistry. After working as a nuclear process support chemist in Aiken, South Carolina at the former named Westinghouse Savannah River Site, she attended and graduated from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the top one-third of her class. While a law student, she clerked for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal, and solo and large law firms in Louisiana and Alabama. She became licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama in 2007 after passing the bar on the first time and has spent her legal career to date working in the area of higher education law addressing legal issues in the areas of education law, contract law, employment law, and NCAA Compliance issues. Her career as a chemist and now an attorney has sharpened her analytical skills and prepared her to expand her practice areas to be able to provide a public service to the Huntsville/ Madison County community.
