Mrs. Cooper obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama and her law degree from Cumberland University where she was a member of the Cumberland Law Review, served as a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow and was a quarter-finalist in the Judge James O. Haley Federal Court Competition in 1991. Mrs. Cooper was also a member of the Cumberland National Trial Advocacy Team which won the regional ATLA competition in the Spring of 1992.
Following law school, Mrs. Cooper joined the law firm of Morris, Smith, Cloud, Fees and Conchin, which later became Morris, Conchin Banks and Cooper when she became a partner. The firm specialized in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Mrs. Cooper started her own firm in 2004 to broaden the scope of her practice. In addition to serving as an Executive Board Member of the Huntsville High School Football Boosters, she is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, The Alabama State Bar, The Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She is married to a Huntsville native and has two children.
