Mr. Hodges was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and grew up in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a member of the National ATLA Trial Team and the National Civil Trial Competition Team. He also received the George Peach Taylor Award for Trial Advocacy and the American Judicature Society Award.
Mr. Hodges has served as the Chair of the Emerging Leaders for the Alabama Association for Justice and President of the Huntsville Young Lawyers. In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, he was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. He have received the AVVO.com rating of Superb with a score of 10.0 out of 10.0. He was also selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the top-40 lawyers in Alabama under 40 in 2012 through 2015. In 2012, 2013, and 2014, the Society of Legal Advocates named him one of its top-40 lawyers under 40.
Mr. Hodges strongly believes in the jury system and has chosen a career where he gets the opportunity to help those injured by the negligence and wrongful conduct of individuals, large corporations, and insurance companies.
When he is not working, he enjoys spending most of time with his family. He also enjoys playing golf and tennis. His favorite pastime is learning to play the guitar. He serves on the Foundation Board for the new Athens-Limestone County Library.
