FIND A LAWYER

The Huntsville Bar Association (HBA) CANNOT give legal advice or refer an attorney to you.  If you do not have a lawyer and think you have a legal problem, then the answer may be here. The HBA offers a web-based lawyer referral service called Find a Lawyer.  The Find a Lawyer program is a public service provided by the HBA.  We maintain a list of HBA members that are experienced lawyers and connect potential clients to attorneys in many areas of the law.  Note:  participating attorneys DO charge fees for their services.

How does Find a Lawyer work?

Click on the Advanced Search link below. Then click on Practice Areas and select “contains." Tab over and type in the key word you are looking for (divorce, bankruptcy, etc.).  Then all the attorneys for the specific area of practice will show up.  There is no obligation on the part of any person through the Find a Lawyer program to work with a particular lawyer.

If you are unable to pay for the services of a lawyer, you may contact the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program (MCVLP) by phone at 256-539-2275 or visit their website.

Justice4AL.com, provided by the Alabama State Bar, helps Alabama citizens find information and resources on legal topics, courts, forms, and if you cannot afford a lawyer.  The Lawyer Referral number with the ASB is 334-269-1515.
